I've been on a tag making spree lately! And,of course, my favorite subject is Marie Antoinette. One of these tags was a gift for a fellow Marie Antoinette Mail Art group member who is going through some tough times. Our group got together and sent her tags so she could create a little tag book out of them. I just love it when us creative girls stick together and offer encouragement to each other! The bottom tags feature my new favorite supply - tissue festooning. I love to crinkle it up on the top of tags and add embellishments on top of it. It also work very well with another of my favorites - seam binding. I like to crinkle it and distress it by putting it in a cup of tea. It also gives me an excuse to make a cup of tea for myself and enjoy a few quiet moments.
And one more thing for today - yesterday I lost such a special person in my life, my dear friend and neighbor Joe Hall. My dad died over 10 years ago and Joe was like a dad to me. He was always there for me if I needed. And many a time he was at my house chasing away a lizard that had wandered in, or helping man the barbeque at our neighborhood pool party.
Joe, I love you and will miss you so much.
